Join YCLM for a Lunch and Learn event presented by the Winnipeg BIM Community on BIM (Building Information Modelling) for Design and Engineering.
BIM is sweeping the industry in many exciting ways, but as with any new process, it can be confusing and intimidating to get started with. This session will provide you with a deeper understanding of what BIM is, how it’s changing the industry, and provide insight into the benefits Architectural and Engineering design firms can see. BIM is a software and technology driven process, but this presentation will keep discussions at a high-level and focus more on the details of BIM as a process.

About the presenter, Sean Usher
Sean is a Design Technology Leader at Republic Architecture. Sean has years of experience in the industry as both a Technologist and Technology Specialist with BIM and many other design technologies. As a Consultant and Leader Sean has applied his wealth of knowledge in Revit, Reality Capture, Visualization, and Building Performance on many different project typologies. Sean also shares his expertise through the Winnipeg BIM Community, helping others discover and learn new workflows and software.
