Join YCLM to experience the thrill of working at height with Rope Access 101, an exclusive Young Construction Leaders of Manitoba event.

Led by the experts at Voyageur Technical (the same team that supports the HSC Children’s Hospital “Suspended Superheroes” event) this live demonstration will showcase the specialized skills and safety systems used to scale, inspect, and maintain some of the most challenging building environments. Attendees will get up close to the action – and for those ready to step outside their comfort zone, you’ll have the chance to strap in, harness up, and rappel down the building yourself under professional supervision. 

Before the ropes come out, you’ll enjoy a quick, behind-the-scenes look at LD Builders’ active project site, gaining insight into their downtown build and how rope access techniques fit into modern construction work.

This is a rare opportunity to learn, network and experience first-hand the skills that take construction to new heights. We’ll be heading to a nearby restaurant or lounge for appetizers, drinks and networking to wrap up the event.

*PPE will be mandatory as we are on an active job site.
