Join YCLM for an exclusive site tour of the rehabilitation of St. Mary’s Road over the Red River Floodway—a major infrastructure project improving a key transportation corridor while enhancing active transportation connectivity in the region.

The project includes replacement of the bridge superstructure, significant rehabilitation of the existing substructure, construction of a new parking lot serving as the terminus of the Duff Roblin Trail, and the addition of new active transportation paths and a pedestrian bridge to improve public access across the Floodway.
During the tour, participants will gain insight into how complex bridge rehabilitation projects are planned and delivered within an active floodway corridor, strategies for managing supply chain, logistics, and change on large infrastructure projects, and key lessons learned from winter construction and phased delivery in Manitoba conditions. The tour will also highlight how active transportation, public access, and trail connectivity can be successfully integrated into major roadway upgrades.
